Prior to remove day
Yes we can! We offer a range of different packing services to suite your requirements, our estimators will be able to advise you upon his visit for your quotation but also our office staff will be more than happy to answer any questions.
Yes we do! We have two different sizes of boxes which we hire to our customers for £1 per box. Once you have moved and un-packed we will come and collect the boxes from you free of charge. We also sell packing tape, bubble wrap & packing tissue.
At MAC we are very flexible, we understand that it is common for dates to change and quite often at the last minute. Just keep us informed and we will do our best to accommodate your changes.
Yes you can! Up to 7 working days prior to your removal we are able to except a bank transfer; alternatively if you would prefer to pay on the day of your removal you can pay cash on the day.
Yes we are fully insured, your house contents are covered for up to £250.000 in transit as are the contents of any items which we have packed for you. There is an excess of £50, any items in boxes which you have packed yourselves are not covered.
Moving day
If the items are not breakable (i.e.: clothes or soft items) we will able to move the furniture full or alternatively remove the drawers if the item is too heavy but if the items are fragile in any way please remove and pack separately.
We carry wrapping blankets on our vehicles and our team will be able to ensure it is correctly protected in transportation to your new home.
On the day of your removal we will bring hanging robe boxes, your items will be transported and hung in your new home. These cartons will have to be empty before the end of the day as we need them every day.
If you decide you are going to take these with you unless discussed otherwise with our estimator please make sure these items are down and packed.
Our insurance does not cover our staff to enter the loft space of our customer’s homes. Please make sure your loft is clear prior to your moving day.
Our insurance doesn’t cover us to transport these items so please make alternative plans for them.
MAC Removals provides moving and storage services throughout the south including areas such as, Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Winchester and Basingstoke. We cover the whole of the south and move to anywhere in the UK, Ireland and Wales.
